server01 과 server02 이렇게 서버가 있는데요..
server01 에는 하드디스크 ssd 0. ssd1
server02 에는 하드디스크 ssd 0. ssd1
이렇게 구성이 되어 있습니다.
두개를 구매한 이유는 실시간으로 업무를 처리하는 관계로, 혹시 보드나, CPU 등 본체에 손상이 갔을경우
하드디스크만 빼서 다른 스텐바이 서버에 인식시켜 이용하려고 두개를 구매하였습니다.
나중에 알았지만, 권장사항이 아니라고 그러네요. 이렇게 사용하는 사람도 없다고 하구요
문제는
가동중인 server01 의 하드디스크 ssd1 을
하드디스크를 삔 server02 에 sss1에 넣었을경우
failed to import foreign configuration 메세지를 출력하고 그냥 있네요..
그러나 반대로 server02 번의 ssd1번을 server01번의 ssd1로 옮겼을경우
임포트도 잘되고, 부팅도 잘되고, 다 잘됩니다.
엔지니어는 자기는 둘다 되는거 확인하고 갔기때문에 다시 봐줄 수가 없다고 합니다..
펌웨어도 같구요.. 미치겠네요.. ㅠㅠ
혹시 이유를 아시는 분 계시나요..??
아니면 서버에는 OS만 설치하고...서비스 관련 파일들은 스토리지로 빼서 2개의 서버가 같은 곳을 바라보게하고...스토리지를 2중화(HA 방식으로) 처리하기도 하구요.
이중화 하는 방법은 일단 여러가지가 있긴 합니다만.............디스크를 빼서 옮기는 경우는 잘 없기는 한 것 같습니다.
참고로...디스크를 한개만 옮기지 말고 2개를 다 옮겨보세요.
디스크를 두개를 옮겼는데요...
디스크 두개가 뜨는데.. 위 상태랑 똑같네요 .. ㅜㅜ
이상한건.. 반대로 하면.. 정상적으로 되니... 이게 더 미치겠네요... 둘 다 안되면 먼가 문제가 있구나 하겠는데..
물론. 기존과 동일한 위치만 가능합니다.

임포트하면 정상적으로 되어야 하는데. 위 메세지를 토해내고 .. 무소식입니다 .
구글을 검색해면.. 저런경우가 꽤 있는거 같은데.. 해결방안이 없네요.. ㅠㅠ

The MegaRAID Utility may display a “Failed to Import Foreign Configuration” error. There are two ways the error may occur: In a server system, if the HDDs are offline and the system is power cycled, the RAID configuration will be removed. If the user selects for the HDDs to come back online, they can import the original RAID configuration. If the user chooses to import an individual RAID configuration (for example, “Configuration 1” or “Configuration 2”), the import will fail.
If a user changes the RAID card in the system by removing the old card and inserting a new one, they may choose to import the original array. However, if the new card does not support features that the original configuration used, the import will fail, such as importing a volume that has caching enabled on a controller that does not support caching.
The user should always choose “All Configurations” to import the array and choose the individual configurations only for preview purposes. The user also must make sure if they insert a new RAID card that it supports all the features used in the old card.
그리고 import하실때 꼭 All Configuration을 선택해야한다 하구요.
import문제로 글올리신분이 계신데 컨트롤러의 펌업을 하니 해결됬다고 하시는군요. 한번 시도해보는것도 나쁘지않을거같습니다..
