1. Download the firmware bundle to the local folder.
2. Unzip the contents to the folder.
3. Copy saupdate.efi and p600-204.pak to any media accessible at EFI (CDROM, USB Key, or HDD with an EFI partition)
4. From the EFI Shell prompt, change to the location where the files from step 3 are located.
5. From the EFI shell prompt, enter the command:

saupdate update <controller name> p600-204.pak

Where "<controller name>" is "p600" for Smart Array P600 controllers and "all" for all Smart Array Controllers that are supported by this firmware package.

e.g. saupdate update p600 p600-204.pak

6. When the update completes, restart the system. Verify that FW version 2.04 is displayed during POST
