OS 설치여부와 상관없이 ISO 이미지를 CD로 구워서 업데이트 하시면 될듯합니다...

HP/UX에서는 depot으로 깔아버리면 되긴하는데....

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Please review all instructions and the "Hewlett-Packard Support Tool License Terms" or your Hewlett-Packard support terms and conditions for precautions, scope of license, restrictions, and, limitation of liability and warranties, before installing this patch. It is important that you read and understand these instructions completely before you begin. This can determine your success in completing the Firmware update.

Prior to Installation:
Clear the system event logs.


Establish a telnet session with the iLO Management Processor.
Logon to the iLO Management Processor using the Admin password.
Type SL to enter the Show Logs menu.
At the "Enter menu item or [Ctrl-B] to Quit:" prompt, type "c".
At the "Are you sure you want to clear all logs? (Y/[N]):" prompt, type "y".

The following should be displayed:
        -> Logs have been cleared.Reset the iLO MP.
Establish a telnet session with the iLO Management Processor.
Logon to the iLO Management Processor using the Admin password.
Type "XD -R" to restart the MP.
Type "Y" to confirm.
Proceed to "Creating a CDROM Boot Option."

Boot the system to the EFI Boot Manager.
Select the "Boot Option Maintenance Menu".
Select the "Add a Boot Option".

Select the "Removable Media Boot" from the list.
Enter a descriptive name for the CDROM boot option.
At "Enter BootOption Data Type", type "a" for ASCII.

At "Enter BootOption Data", enter a descriptive title for the boot option.
Save to NVRAM, type "y".

Exit the EFI Boot Maintenance Manager.
Proceed to "Installing Firmware from CDROM".

Download PF_CPEAKSYS0231B.zip to a PC with a CDROM burner and software installed.

Unzip PF_CPEAKSYS0231B.zip.

Double Click the icon for PF_CPEAKSYS0231B.iso or Right Click the icon for PF_CPEAKSYS0231B.iso and select 'Record to CD' from the pop-up menu. Consult the operating instructions for your CD Burner software to complete the recording process. Many software packages only require clicking the 'okay' or similar button.
Remove the CD from the burner and install in the system to be updated.
Boot the system using the CDROM as the boot media.
If an "Internal Bootable DVD has been added" message appears, your system did not already have a removable media boot option required by HPOFM (HP Offline Firmware Manager); read the message, then press Enter to close it.

Press Enter to close the HPOFM welcome message.
Use the arrow keys to select the 'Manage Firmware' option, then press Enter. The Manage Firmware screen appears.
To select the device(s) to update, press Tab until the cursor moves to the device window. Use the arrow keys to highlight the desired device, then press Enter to select. An [X] indicates the device is now selected for updating.

To read a firmware release note, highlight the desired device, then press the Spacebar to display the release note. When finished reading, press Tab to select 'Back', then press Enter to close the note.
Read any warning message(s), and press Enter to close them.
Press Tab to move the cursor to the 'Begin update' option at the bottom of the screen, then press Enter.
Read any reboot warning, then press Tab to move the cursor to the 'Continue' choice, then press Enter.
Read the final "Are you SURE you want to continue?" warning. This is the final warning before updates begin. To confirm, press Tab to move the cursor to the 'Continue' choice, then press Enter.
The firmware update will now begin. When the firmware update is complete, the system may reset and MP sessions may disconnect. Be sure to leave the same CDROM in the drive.

HPOFM will run again. To observe results and complete the update, wait about 1 minute, then reconnect to the MP.

When all updates have completed, HPOFM will display a results screen. Read the results, then press Enter to close the screen.
When the HPOFM welcome message again appears, press Enter to close it.
Select the 'Exit' option and press Enter to exit the HPOFM tool.
