매뉴얼에 idrac6에서 vflash(sd메모리) 사용가능이라는데..저는 간단 저장공간으로 쓸려고 했더니
pre-OS로 활용?이 가능하다고 되어있는데 말이죠.
말그대로 pre-OS란 vm-OS이미지인가요? 아니면 os설치image인가요?
또한 pre-OS이미지는 어떻게 사용하는 것인가요?

The iDRAC6 Enterprise can be upgraded by adding the vFlash Media card. This is an 8 GB Dellbranded SD card that enables a persistent 256 MB virtual flash partition. The vFlash Media delivers

OS및 기타 필요한 프로그램들을 설치한 상태로 만들어 두고(vflash 의 파티션상에)
네트워크를 통해서 인스톨할때 많이 사용합니다.
r210에 장착된 sd메모리에다가 원격컴터(odd)에서 윈도우시디를 넣고 설치를? 하는건가요?
안해봐서 잘모르겠네요...혹시해보셨으면 설명좀부탁드려요
1. vflash 파티션을 가상 cd 로 만들어 vflash로 부팅해서 OS 를 install 또는 update(iso만 있을면 됩니다.)
2. vflash 파티션으로 복구나 백업으로 이용하는 경우
3. 급하게 디스크 용량을 확보하고자 하는 경우 (vflash 파티션은 단일 파티션의 경우 2G 가 한계입니다.)
idrac 설치하시고 나시면 아마 금방 이해 하실겁니다.
vflash영역에 OS 는 설치해 본적이 없습니다만 부팅을 그쪽 파티션으로 하면 아마 되지 않을까 싶습니다.
저의 경우에는 R420 에 internal 듀얼 SD 모듈 추가해서 미러링 한 다음 그곳에 esxi 설치해서 사용 중 입니다.
