This cable is a reverse breakout and its intended purpose is to connect a backplane with SFF8087 connector to the motherboard SATA ports or controller(s) with regular SATA connectors.
Only users with Norco 4220/4224 or better industrial design cases can use this particular cable and they will use only one (to connect a single backplane to four of the motherboard SATA ports). But no one can make this work with AOC-SASLP-MV8
However you can use Molex 79576-3003 (it is 0.5 m long) or 79576-3004 (it is 0.6 m long) as these are the regular "forward breakout" cables
이런 경우는 처음인데.. 혹시 이런 케이블만 따로 서버쪽으로 나오는 제품들이 있나요?
고객이 제품 파트번호까지 알아가면서 주문을 해야하는건지..
혹시 이런경우 사용방법은 스토리지 서버에서만 사용할수 있는건가요? 아니면 슈마 하드랙에서 사용할수 있는건가요?
아마 구입 하신 케이블이 이 것으로 생각됩니다.

즉 사진처럼 mSAS 부분이 백플레인 쪽으로 가는 장비가 있고
반대로 mSAS 부분이 컨트롤러에서 나오고 SATA 케이블이 백플레인으로 장착이 되는 장비도 있습니다.
2CPU 분들도 저기에 많이 당하신분들 계신걸로 압니다...
즉 8087toSATA 케이블은 색상이 빨간색이면 의심을 하고 시작 하는게 좋습니다.
(전 단 한번도 빨간색 케이블을 써본적 없습니다.....)
뭐 예전에는 하늘색 8087toSATA 케이블이 9만원 이랬는데
지금 그냥 검색해보니 2만원이네요 ;
제가 올 여름에 구입한 케이블중에 하늘색 투명한 케이블은 백플레인용이었고 이곳 회원님께 구한 적색 암페놀 케이블은 일반용이었습니다.
한개는 sas to sata 이고
다른 파트는 sata to sas로판단 됩니다.
두 케이블은 호환 불가능합니다....^^
보통 이런 류의 주문 케이블은 주문자가 스펙을 정하면 제조자가 파트넘버를 만들고 파트넘버에
회로도부터 모든 관련 데이터를 쉬트로 만듭니다.
주문자는 그 데이터를 확인하고 제품을 주문합니다.(최소 1K정도)
