안녕하세요.
최근 새로 NAS겸 서버를 꾸미고 있는데 이베이에서 구매한 adaptec 7805(펌웨어 7.5-0 (32118))가 하드를 SSD로 인식합니다.
문제는 그 앞에 테스트용으로 잠깐 사용한 5805도 하드를 SSD로 인식합니다.
하드는 아이언울프(ST6000VN001) 6T 4대 입니다.
일단 확인겸 raid5로 잡아봤는데 타입이 SSD로 뜨네요. 아답텍과 아이언울프사이의 호환성 문제인지...
device type을 수동으로 잡을 방법이 있을까요?
아니면 이상태로 사용해도 문제가 없을련지요? 분명 SSD랑 HDD랑 7805가 동작하는 방식이 다르다는 글을 봤는데요.

7세대 아답텍 카드는 나온지 오래되어서 시게이트 아이언울프 하드와는 호환성이 부족한 듯합니다..
그리고 7세대 아답텍 카드는 단종인지라 (아마 8세대까지 단종일 듯) 제조사에서는 어지간해서는 더 이상 지원이 없을 것입니다..

그런데 저런상태에서 운용하면 안좋겠죠?
생각할 수 있는 문제는 불필요하게 트림을 하려고 시도할거같긴합나다.
