Processor Base Frequency 2.60 GHz 과 3.20 GHz 는 크게 관련이 없나요?

지금까지 알고 있던 상식은 기본 clock 이 높은 편이 single cpu 사용시 더 빠른 성능을 낸다고 알고 있었습니다.

이것이 Max Turbo Frequency    3.60 GHz 이라는 것이 나타나서 헷갈립니다.


그러니까 상기 2가지 CPU 모두 single core 만을 full 로 사용하게 될 때 3.60 GHz 로 작동한다면,

single 이던 multi processing 이던 E5-2697A v4 의 성능은 E5-2667V4 의 딱 2배가 될까요?
