메인컴으로 405 G4를 사용중인데 CPU는 라이젠 2200GE입니다.
5750GE와 똑같은 소켓(AM4)을 사용하고 TDP도 동일해서
사용할 수 있다고 생각하는데
시도해 보셨거나 아시는 분은 답변주시면 감사하겠습니다.

더군다나 2-3세대를 뛰어넘는건 절대로 안된다고 봅니다. 인텔이면 바이오스 개조라도 해보겠는데 amd는 그것조차 쉽지않고, hp는 bios surestart 때문에 뭐 건들지도 못합니다.
심지어 G/GE 프로세서 탑재면 G/GE 계열만 사용 가능합니다. 다만 그마저도 스펙시트에 나와있는 지원 CPU만 됩니다.
"동일 보드"를 사용하면서 5750GE가 탑재된 다른 모델이 존재한다면 BIOS를 덮어씌우는 것으로 해결 할 수도 있긴합니다. (HP B550A 보드가 그랬습니다.)

I updated my machine to the latest BIOS version too - 02.20.00 Rev.A 24.8 MB (Nov 8, 2022).
I had a Ryzen 2200G and wanted to install a 3400G - tried earlier today and unfortunately did not work! :disappointed_face: There were no beeps or error sounds - the white power light came on and CPU fan was spinning - just no display output.
Tried taking both the CMOS battery out and pressing the 'Clear CMOS' button but didn't help. Just caused the fan to stop and spin faster for a few seconds before settling down again.
I also tried the VGA output in case the problem was related to DP out on first boot / settings getting reset but same result.
Even though the motherboard is a B350 - I think the BIOS has been locked down by HP and the highest you can upgrade to is a 2400G. There is a 405 G6 model that works with 3200 and 3400G.
