서로 다른 2 CPU를 사용 중 입니다.
클로버타운 E5310과 E5335를 같이 사용하고 있습니다.
구입 당시 (2008년인가 2009년인가) 2CPU를 비롯해 해외 포럼을 뒤져봐도,
이런 성공 사례를 못찾았었습니다.
안되면 말지 뭐 하는 생각으로 조립해 봤는데 다행히 잘 돌아갑니다.
E5310은 Bsel mod, 한때 유행했던 클로버타운의 절연테이프 개조했습니다.
FSB를 기본 클럭을 266에서 333으로 올릴 수 있습니다.

E5310은 1.6Ghz -> 2.0Ghz로 E5320은 1.86 -> 2.33Ghz로 클럭이 올라갑니다.
3년 넘게 쓰면서 시스템이 이상하게 멈춘다거나 하는 적은 없었습니다.
그래도 새 시스템은 제대로 짝맞춰서 구성해야겠습니다. (불안해서)
그중의 하나인 것으로 생각됩니다...
사양이 문제가 아니라 사용자가 동시에 여러작업을 안정적으로 처리할 수 있다면 그게 제일 좋은
장비라고 생각되기에 굉장히 효율적으로 시스템을 사용하고 계신 것 같습니다.....^^
The answer is that particular combination won't work together. Page 25 and 26 of the Intel Xeon 5000 Series Datasheet Volume 1 discuss mixing processor types. A brief rundown on what's supported and not:
1. CPUs must have the same QPI and RAM speed to work together.
2. CPUs must have the same thermal profile (TDP) to work together.
3. The CPUs must have the same number of physical cores to work together.
4. The CPUs must have the same number of logical cores to work together.
5. Stepping does not matter.
6. Clock speed does not matter.
